I know, what with all the people with diabetes and having to control their sugar level, I shouldn't be promoting my treats. That's just it! We have created a problem -- the problem of having diabetes in the first place, and now we go on to create another problem -- not being able to eat what we want.
I believe in eating right, and I have mentioned it many times in my writings. By eating right, we are healthy and the best part is that we have the option to treat ourselves. If you find yourself alway 'wanting' things that are not good for you, then you had better go figure out your wants.

Why have artificially flavored drinks when you can have the real thing? Why eat low-calorie cheesecake with artificial sweeteners every day, when we can have the real delicious full flavored cheesecake once in a while. That's true enjoyment of life. Things of luxury should be savoured once in a while. If everyday, they become boring and normal, no longer special.
So savor my teatime treats and enjoy the natural goodness of real butter, real sugar and real fruits and ingredients, when you feel you deserve a treat. Leave the supermarket, commercial, laden with artificial ingredients, cheap, can get everyday, .....at the store.
Strictly my point of view.
