Rock Buns Recipe

A recipe which has been in the family since I was a kid. It was one of the first things I tried to bake at eight years old... It still is one of my favorites for tea -- easy to make and delish. Ingredients: 2 cups plain flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup sultanas 1 egg 2 tablespoon milk to bind Directions: Seive flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon into a mixing bowl. Rub in butter until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar and sultanas. Beat the milk and egg together. Mix into the dry ingredients with a fork to form a sticky consistency. Spoon into 12 heaps on a greased baking tray. Bake in a pre-heated oven, 400 degrees F, gas mark 6, for 10-15 minutes.
